Love this article and series in Art of Manliness. It’s a well-worded and relevant exploration of the sacred and the profane, and makes a good argument for stepping away from the world to step into God. It’s why I’m escaping to a Benedictine monastery for a brief respite soon. To encounter the divine and find some sacred space.
What I truly seek though, and hope we can all find, is the ability to be a sacred space and inject the sacred into the profane with every breath we take.
